Demolition of existing offices and removal of hazardous materials and the construction and fitout of new offices and administration areas. All works were completed under strict controlled and monitored conditions due to the adjacent operational children’s cancer care unit.
Design, develop and construct project consisted of the demolition of existing offices including the removal of and safe disposal of contaminated materials and the construction of new offices including new aluminium framed glass partitions, joinery, finishes including supply and installation of new furniture, fixtures and equipment.
All new electrical and hydraulics works were installed throughout including a new mechanical system to suit the new works.
All works were carried out under strict controlled conditions to minimise noise and dust during construction due to the risk of aspergillosis to the adjacent operational children’s cancer care unit.
