We engaged Stuart Emmins and the team at Corvus Primesite to deliver our architecturally designed family home at North Curl Curl – a modern, 5-bedroom executive residence designed by Gartner Trovato Architects, featuring multiple living areas, ocean views, a north-facing yard, inground pool, bespoke basement spaces and integrated finishes throughout. Our relationship with Stuart spanned several years prior to committing to the build. During this time, and particularly through the tender phase, Stuart demonstrated a high level of professionalism, transparency, and practical expertise. His advice on constructability, value engineering and cost optimisation was both thoughtful and highly effective, helping us refine the design while preserving the integrity of the architectural vision. A defining aspect of this project was that our family was based in Hong Kong for the duration of the build. We appreciated some Clients may be hesitant to appoint a builder to fully lead, manage and deliver a project in Australia while we were living overseas however Stuart and his team, including Site Project Manager Matt Sernig, consistently justified that trust. Throughout construction, communication was excellent. Regular updates via Teams, email and phone ensured full transparency on progress, decisions, and key milestones. Stuart was always accessible and highly responsive, and he made effort to align with our time zone and availability. During our limited visits to site, he provided hands-on support across a range of bespoke design and procurement decisions – from marble benchtops and gas fireplaces to polished concrete flooring, architectural lighting, pool finishes and complex detailing elements such as the floating stairwells and castellated wall/ceiling features. As the project approached completion, the team maintained a strong focus on quality and execution, while also accommodating late-stage refinements as the home came to life. Despite a demanding timeline, their attention to detail and commitment to delivering to program remained consistent. Importantly, their support has continued post-completion. Stuart and Matt have remained engaged and responsive, helping us to ensure the home performs as intended and continues to meet the evolving needs of our family. Based on our experience, we would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart Emmins and the Corvus Primesite team. Their integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to quality – combined with a genuine, partnership-driven approach – set them apart as a leading builder for complex, high-end residential projects.
Our renovation was not a straightforward job. We wanted a complete renovation of a 125-year old house in need of a lot of love as well as a brand new extension. Stuart, Aiden and the team at Corvus Primesite did a remarkable job. They delivered the project on time and on budget, but that wasn’t the best bit. It was the quality of their work. Stuart and Aiden solved problems with creative solutions, and worked well with our architect. The craftsmanship and attention to detail of their trades was first class. They have produced a fantastic result and we love our new home. 5 Stars.
Everyone we have dealt with through Corvus has been professional, skilled and respectful. In particular, we would like to mention Stallone as site manager. Stallone has been unfailingly helpful and responsive to all our questions and requests. Before Christmas, he led the team in their extra efforts to get the work to a stage such that we could move in when our rental contract expired, which was much appreciated at a very stressful time for our family! His attention to detail and willingness to ensure that the build met our requirements have been truly admirable. Stallone really has been a pleasure to deal with, and we wish him - and the whole team - all the best for the future.
We were very reluctant renovators, who were more than apprehensive about embarking on a sizable renovation. Stuart, Angus and their team made what might have been a very stressful process more than manageable. Their communication and problem-solving skills were excellent. They worked very well with our architect (Virginia Kerridge). They delivered our home within their estimated timeframe, despite encountering some serious supplier headwinds on the way. Their attention to detail and thoughtful planning was standout. Our home is just beautiful and a credit to the team’s professionalism and diligence. We could not recommend this team more highly.
Appointing Corvus Primesite to convert an old Californian Bungalow into our dream home has been one of the best decisions of our lives. Alvin, Dee and the entire Corvus Primesite team, with their specialist team of subcontractors, have managed to exceed every box delivering the vision of our architect Mark Szczerbicki. The quality of work is outstanding and was delivered safely, on time and on budget. Alvin’s approach to communication leading up to and during the build was a standout - open, transparent, respectful and patient!! Needless to say trust was established from the beginning and crystallised as the build progressed. There were no (other than pleasant) surprises and we continue to be overwhelmed with excitement since moving into our house. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience through every phase of construction and were kept well informed of ongoing progress and when we needed to make decisions along the way. At all phases of the build the site was kept clean, safe, secure and presentable. Stuart, Angus and the team were very professional from dealing with our neighbours, liaising with council, supplying materials and subcontractors with the added pressure of Covid. This potentially stressful process was managed well and ended in a quality finish we are proud to call home. Miles Thorp Architects offered a strong recommendation having previously collaborated with Corvus Primesite on a project in Randwick. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of their completed project in Turramurra. Witnessing their craftsmanship firsthand, meeting their team, and receiving a competitive quote during the tender process solidified our confidence in Corvus Primesite's ability to deliver our vision. Stuart had said that the process doesn't end when the keys are handed over, that they guarantee their work and this really resonated with us. Corvus Primesite takes care to build a quality product they stand by. It has been almost a year since moving into our beautiful new home and we couldn't be happier.
We recently had Corvus Primesite complete the build of our "Forever Home". It was a tough decision choosing a Builder (especially as I am in the Construction Industry) however we are so glad we went with Corvus Primesite. The build went smoothly and to budget (even during the COVID disruptions). Alvin and his crew are true professionals, the end result is outstanding and even the neighbours commented on just how good they were during the build.... It’s now shy of 6 months since we moved into our new home and to say we are totally happy is an understatement, the house is exactly the home we wanted. It’s a credit to yourself and your team. From the beginning you connected with our architect’s (Miles Thorp Architects) and ourselves fully appreciating the brief and our desired outcomes. The regular back and forth with the architect’s and ourselves, consulting, fine tuning and adding your wealth of buildability knowledge to the project enhanced our outcomes both physically and commercially. As you know we are also involved in commercial construction and have a deep understanding of quality workmanship and to your credit we are here now 6 months in and have absolutely no defects whatsoever. Thank you for all your efforts, your patience, the trials and tribulations to deliver a wonderful home we will enjoy for many years to come.

Dear Stuart and Stallone, Thank you for bringing the design for Paddington to life. It was a small space with a few challenges. I really appreciated the problem solving for some of the quirks of the house and your help in guiding me through the process. Stallone, your patience was exceptional. Thank you for making the process as smooth as possible, in particular with the neighbours, who all miss you! You have also been incredibly helpful with following up on a few inevitable adjustments needed after I moved in. I guess the test of whether the process was successful is whether you’d do it again, and I would. I would also not hesitate to recommend Corvus Primesite to others.
